Maya|Seattle Newborn Photographer

Meet Maya!!! Maya came into my Seattle studio for a quick session. She was just an angel and slept the entire time she was with me. She got to be the first to use some of my favorite new props and made them look AMAZING. This little heart bowl will probably have to come out at every single session.

Something about little girls, flowers, and now the heart bowl!! It’s up there as one of the cutest things ever. Thank you, Maya, for being the most AMAZING baby and rocking every single set-up we did!

Being able to pose babies just a little more naturally on just the bed is making me very happy also. A baby on all white is another one of those thing that will just never get old.

Seattle Studio | Seattle Newborn Photographer

It’s been a while since I have been on the blog. I got a new Seattle Studio and have been LOVING it! I am able to incorporate both lifestyle and posed work in the studio and this has been a dream of mine for a long time.

This sweet family booked me for a FRESH48 and a Seattle Studio session. These three brothers are just the cutest and going to be the best of friends. Being a mom of four boys myself I have a special place in my heart for all boy families. I think everyone assumes they are a little different than they are. Such we are crazy, wild, and always moving, but they also love each other so very much. Here are some favorites from their session.

Best time | Seattle Newborn Photographer

When is the best time to book your newborn session?

Most clients book their newborn session in their second trimester. This is to ensure they get on the books and secure a spot. I do take a limited number of newborn sessions each month. That being said, don’t even hesitate to contact me if later or even after the baby is born. This truly is my passion and I would LOVE to snuggle every single newborn!

How old does the baby need to be?

My preference is for the baby to be 5-12 days old. This is because at this age they still sleep majority of the day and are a lot easier to move around and pose. After that two week mark they typically don’t sleep as much, might start getting colicky, and baby acne starts to make an appearance.

This little lady didn’t get in to see me until one month and sleep the ENTIRE TIME!! She slept better than most week old babies. We honestly tried to wake her up after a couple hours and get some awake shots and she couldn’t even be woken up. Mom and dad were thrilled and in shock because she typically is not a sleeper. Must be my baby whisperer magic and super hot studio! OR maybe any time is the best time because whether they are sleeping or awake they will never again be this little.

Oliver |Lynnwood Newborn Photographer

Meet Oliver! I was so excited when I was able to fit him in last minute, as a Lynnwood Newborn Photographer. Most clients book when they are around 20 weeks, but I try my hardest to fit in anyone that has a baby, whether they booked or not. So, never hesitate to contact me if you forgot to book or didn’t decide until after you had the baby that you wanted photos. Oliver’s session was even more special because his Grandma purchased it and was just over the moon about her first Grandchild. These sessions are really so much more than just photos. It’s an experience you will never forget and 99% of the time we have a good time. The other 1% are exhausted parents and sleep through them (haha).

Oliver was a so perfect for me with his blonde hair, little toes and finger, and can we talk about the chin dimple! I am IN LOVE! Honestly, I just think it is the cutest little thing I have ever seen.

Adaline | Lynnwood Newborn Photographer

Meet Adaline! Adaline came to me at just over 1.5 weeks old and was such a dream. She was little and sweet and made all the set-ups I had planned for her even more amazing. Something about baby girls and flowers just gets me every time. Maybe because I’m a mother of all boys?? I honestly couldn’t figure out which color looked best on her…and I don’t think I needed to. She looks good in them all!

You are one loved little girl, Adaline! Thank you for choosing me to be your Seattle Newborn Photographer. I hope to see you again!
